Seems that the most difficult part of LANDesk is deploying the Agent. I have had a couple of discussions on this. I now have a laptop right next to me to test with. I have the laptop turned on, Firewall on and allowing contact. The user id that I am using to push the agent in LANDesk is also in the local adminsitrator group. This group has full access to the C: drive.
Now, this is what I am getting... in the logfile this is what is showing:
[Operation failed] RemoteExecute, cmd /c if not exist C:\$ldcfg$ mkdir C:\$ldcfg$
CBA 8 X509 operation : -2147481845 (8000070b8u) : Unable to contact the remote agent.NT File sharing :1222 (4c68u)

Secure Shell : 1805 (70d8u) : An unspecified error in the protocol occured.Remote execute using TCP failed, result
0x0000057a (1402)
On unmanaged systems this operation will attempt to acces the ADMIN$ file share and remotely start a service
The result in the Scheduled Tasks area is:
CAS-LT0021 172.016.082.180 Failed Unable to contact the specified machine. The machine may be off or unreachable. 1087 CAS-LT0021
Again, I have this laptop right next to me. It is on line and working properly. The IP address is correct and it is file sharing.
What next?? Is there anything in a manual that states EXACTLY what needs to be on the workstations/laptops first before trying to push the Agents???
