We recently completed an upgrade from LDMS 9.5 SP3 to 2016. We have noticed on our endpoints that the LANDesk Policy Invoker service (policy.client.invoker.exe) is generating errors in the system log.
The LANDesk Policy Invoker service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.(policy.client.invoker.exe)
Was this service retired in LDMS 2016 and just not removed during the agent upgrade, or is this service still needed.
