We already have deployed LDMS 8.8 SP2 to all our machines via a self contained EXE that we distributed via a Policy in 8.5. Some of the Agents did not upgrade or only partially seemed to have gotten the new 8.8 agent. So, we are now deploying the advanced agent configuration via group policy. I tested with a machine that already had 8.8 on it and noticed that it didn't upgrade when I pushed the advanced agent configuration out to it. Is this because it already has the same agent? Furthermore, I took another machine and removed 8.8 using the uninstallwinclient.exe and it doesn't pull down the advanced agent configuration either. Any ideas here? Does anyone know what the registry stamp is that the advanced agent configuration leaves in XPs registry once it has installed?
