Advance Agent Installation Error: Could not open SCManager, error 5

LDMS 9.6 SP2

I'm testing an Advance Agent Deployment via GP, but I'm getting the error mentioned in the title.

Questions:

1. When a new Advance Agent is created we get prompted for an http:// directory, Do we need to create a new IIS share for this?

I tried my existing (and working) Software Distribution Share in this setting but it didn't work.

2. What credentials are used to access this share? Are the one in the Preferred Server?

3. I grabbed the msi and ran it on a domain PC, I get that error. Should this file be deployed only via GP?

4. Will it not work just by double clicking it (I'm logged in as a local admin)

5. I tried it as a domain user (the same)

I checked this doc: Advance Agent install process and troubleshooting tips

And searched for options but not luck.

Any help is appreciated.
