Agent update, can I use a different agent to update its configuration

I have a couple of offices; let us call them London and New York. I pushed an advance agent to each office with agents called LondonAgent  and NewYorkAgent.

If I wanted to update the agent's configuration for the London office, do I need to edit LondonAgent's configuration and then schedule an agent update, or can I create a new agent and then push it to the London office?

If I understand correctly, I should be able to use any agent to update any configuration.
