I am having an issue in landesk with distribution packages. I have set up several packages to run from our core server off UNC share. The delivery method is the issue. They are setup to use policy supported push. The frequency of policy is set to once. I am testing these distribution packages on a test machine. Ive deployed several packages with this method. They will install fine, except the issue is that they will try to redeploy themselves at various times. There are listed in the scheduled tasks still and have not been deleted. I can delete them from the scheduled task which stops the problem, but I am trying to figure out why they will continue to be redeployed even after they are already installed.
I tried to go into several of the scheduled tasks and go to 'detection' and use "file version" as the method and put in c:\folder\filename and then file version number. This does not seem to resolve the issue. It still does the same thing
Any ideas?
