FQDN for Windows Server Agent

Hello all,

I see that on DLMS 9 we can configure a Windows Server agent with the FQDN of the core.

Can we create a Windows Server agent with the FQDN of the core on LDMS 8.8 (sp3)?  Any changes that can be made on the INI file before the agent is built?

Does this document apply to 8.8? http://community.landesk.com/support/docs/DOC-1971

We need the FQDN as we are a multi-domain shop and some servers do not have WINS setup.
