LD 9.5 No SP1
Problem: trying to get something to get agent to work remotely.
I have a few laptops that don't show in LD Console but I can \\computer\c$ and see Landesk is installed. (UPDATE: None of the Landesk services are installed)
They keep showing up in my Unmanaged Device scans.
As I am not allowed to remote in during working hours and these are taken home so I can't remote in after working hours.
My Problem is I drag them to the agent for a scheduled task and it always fails. When I do a Connect Remote Registry I can see a reboot is waiting from some other process which I have figured out is causing the install to fail. (I know this from many hours of troubleshooting)
I have tryed running PSEXEC.exe with a batch file doing a full invevory scan and it runs but computer still doesn't show in Landesk. (UPDATE: This did bring it into the console but only after a long while due to thousands of computers sending in scans.)
I have also tryed running PSEXEC with a bach file that runs the agent self contained EXE but it fails.
I have been experimenting with rainstall.exe on my own computer to see if it reinstalls the agent but it does nothing on my computer. Is there switches used with Rainstall to get it to work?
I thought I could make a batch file to run rainstall.exe remotely to get the agent to work.
